A travel adapter with a twist

Design Brief:

To create a travel adapter that matches the coiled charging cables developed

by Cleverer Things (in-house brand of Design Insight)

BOND charging cables are capable of bonding to itself, like a puzzle piece to another, when coiled.

Given an existing and defined brand language, what other products can we develop following the same concept to expand into a family of products with similar features?

Different forms were explored during concept generation. Design considerations including the different types of plugs used for travelling were also noted. Eventually, the idea of a round silhouette with the common plug types (Type C, Type A, Type G) and two USB ports was chosen.
